Optimal Concentration And Application Method Of Aloe Vera Mixture For Controlling Rust On The Wheat Crop
Keywords:
Aloe Vera Extract, Rust Infection, Wheat CropAbstract
A crucial crop, wheat (Triticum aestivum L.), provides food for about 30% of the world's population. Rust diseases, such as stem rust (Puccinia graminis f. sp. tritici), leaf rust (Puccinia triticina), and stripe rust (Puccinia striiformis f. sp. tritici), are becoming a bigger threat to its production. Since most fungal wheat outbreaks can be managed chemically worldwide, natural plant compounds have demonstrated biological effectiveness against wheat fungal pathogens both in vitro and in vivo, making them useful as bio-fungicidal agents. The sensitivity of the most significant wheat fungal pathogens to several natural extract products, essential oils, and their constituent parts, as well as their mechanisms of action in managing wheat illnesses, was examined in this study. Rust inhibition can be achieved naturally and sustainably with the use of plant-based extracts. The beneficial effects of Aloe vera extract at various concentrations (0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%) and application techniques for wheat rust control are examined in this study.
