Abstract

Monitoring system have some positive effects on students’ academic achievement, such as enhance their grades, test scores, as well as teachers students attendance, teachers punctuality, which provide fruitful insights into students’ learning process. The current study aims to know the effect of monitoring system on students’ academic achievement at the secondary level in Lower Dir. The objectives of this study were to know the relationship between monitoring system and students’ academic achievement, to identify usefulness of monitoring system in educational setting, and to provide recommendations for educators and policy-makers on the effective use of monitoring system at the secondary school level.  The total population of this study was consisted of 63 teachers at high secondary school level in Lower Dir KP. Random sampling techniques were used for the required sample of the study. The study was descriptive in nature and a self-develop questionnaire was used to collect the data.  The collected data was analyzed by using the different statistical tools. The study recommends that the use of monitoring system promotes check and balance in the educational setting .
